My semi-realistic redesign of Archie, Leader of Team Aqua.I've toned down the "shininess" of the material of his clothes so that it appears to be more of a high-quality thick waterproof stuff (like shark/stingray skin) than the typical thin swimwear that you can buy from your local clothes store. Plus I made his eye colour blue as opposed to the black dots in both the anime/games to symbolise his element more.
I imagine him to be somewhat a little younger than Maxie (and more of the bubbly one). The water effects in this piece was so fun to paint. He's under a wave here (surf's up!)

He looks cool. I've only played against Archie in Emerald and that was years ago, so I don't quite remember what he was like as a villain, but that's all right. I prefer fighting against Team Magma anyway.

I always liked Archie more then Maxie for some reason. I like that you changed his eye color, because it suits him better. Water can be hard to draw, but you have done an amazing job with it. It's like putting him in his element. Nice work.
