Just a quick sketch as a request via friend who wanted some sort of red dragon.
I got carried away with the details a bit (such as the scales).

I admire the flow and color... the muscleness is just a bit flat, but it looks like a fairly heavy, strong dragon. Very beautiful.

You draw wonderful dragons. I think the scales make it pop out more. ;D

Look at you just a-baskin' away there like it's cool! :giggles: She (?) is so beautiful and you've really captured that "warm sun on my face" look. You'd almost expect to see her open her mouth slightly in a reptilian smile.

Haha, yeah.
Everyone keeps calling the dragon a she, so I'll stick to that.
Thanks for the comment!

Well it could be a young male, but the lines are kind of soft which gives a feminine feel to her, you know?

Wow this is amazing!
I wish I could come up with such amazing colouring. I have no idea what brushes to use to make the scales on a dragon...

YOU HAS THEM!

Wow... o.o Carried away is a good thing. xD That dragon has the same look as when I rub my kitty's chin! It looks like it's basking in the sun... as my kitty also does. The rest that I could say - such as about the look of actual (maybe acrylic?) paint, and such - I said in your last dragon picture, so I don't want to sound like I'm just saying the same thing over again. But this is yet another picture of pure epicness. It's like the dragon of the Tuscan sky.

Thank you for your comment! <3
I try to achieve the "traditional look" with all my digital art pieces, since I really can't stand all that digital "shininess" most of the time.

For me, one example of digital art that I liked that looked digital was Karbo's artwork, but he's been moving toward the traditional look, too, which I prefer. And this picture does have a bit of a coarseness that comes from those kinds of paints/canvases which I like. Keep it up. x3
