Description
Short MK Fanfic(Its been a while):Sub-Zero finds a small note dropped by a blazing fire-bird from its beak. Cautiously, he picked up the rolled-up note and read it:
"Kuai Liang,
You know who I am. I'm the Shirai Ryu ninja, Scorpion. I was your brother's murderer years ago because I believed he was the one reasonable for my clan and family's demise. But now I have found their true killer: Quan Chi. He used me and made me believe it was your brother that killed them. How foolish was I to not find out the truth sooner. I am sorry for what I did. I took away your brother all because of my foolishness. I want to atone your brother's death and make peace between the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu. Meet me in the forest at sundown. I'll be waiting."
Sub Zero looked at the note, tears filling his eyes. They froze as he stared at the note, trying to figure out the mind of Hanzo Hasashi. Before sundown, Sub Zero went to see Scorpion, his nose filled with the smell of burning flesh. Horrified, Sub Zero saw Scorpion engulfed in flames. The hell-spawn ninja was on his knees with his eyes closed shut. A sword was right beside him with its sheath by its blade. Scorpion was calm and peaceful as Sub Zero didn't move an itch.
"Kill me." Scorpion demanded. Sub Zero looked at Scorpion as he saw a man that had wronged him by taking his elder brother away. The fires continued to crackle as skin on Scorpion's arm was tearing off. He screamed in agony as Sub Zero continued to watch. Holding back his tears, Sub Zero hugged Scorpion as he released mist into the air. The cool mist made the fire disappear as Scorpion could not believe what Sub Zero had done.
"Why did you hesitate? Why didn't you kill me? shouted Scorpion. With a broken smile and frozen tears on his face, Sub Zero replied, "Because I have already forgiven you long ago. There's no need to kill you Hanzo." Scorpion cried against as Sub Zero tried to comforted him. The two ex rivals that once spewed hatred for each other, ended their rivalry with forgiveness. Sub Zero took Scorpion's hand as the two looked at the fading sun.
"Kuai?"Scorpion whispered. "Yes Hanzo?" Sub Zero responded. "Thank you for forgiving me. I will always remember your selfless act of sincerity." Sub Zero continued to smile as he formed a snowball and hit Scorpion playfully. Scorpion laughed as he ran after Sub Zero with snowballs and joyous laughter. The two played in the snow as the sun faded behind the clouds. The bitter rivalry between Scorpion and Sub Zero has finally come to an end and the two lived peacefully as allies and friends.

It's a beautiful art piece. So much emotion and landscape structure packed into one comic page. One of the things I like the most is how you got Kuai's armor parts right. That's really hard to do, considering the distinctive engraving, but you drew them perfectly. The characters themselves look younger than I would take them for but they're basically other worldly people so I guess they can change their physical appearance. I also like the way you drew Hanzo's hair. Even though we don't know what he looked like before he became Scorpion it fits. You did great pal.

:,3 *sniff* Thank you so much. I'm always experimenting with new things and I wanted to see how it would go. I'm glad you liked it. The reasoning behind it was because I was feeling sad and drew what I felt by using Scorpion and Sub Zero. I guess I made a bit too sad... :')
