I used to love art,
I used to draw every day,
The amazing thing was that I never thought,
It was a click of a mouse or a line from a pen,
I miss that.
When I try to unleash my imagination now everything is gone,
I can't do it, I'm growing up,
Work makes life too busy to sit at a desk.
I'm missing memories of even half a year ago, feeling so young and free,
Yet I now sit here with the stresses and responsibilities of adult life,
but there's many more to come.
Another Christmas slowly passes by,
Once again, more lonely than the last,
I wonder what it'll be like next year,
I wonder, I fear;
Will I ever feel that family connection with them again?
