It was lucky, that I found this little guy in the daytime, when he was really sleepy. He wasn't too annoyed being photographed so I took the opportunity ...

It's moving... such a fragile little creature, looking like a piece of painted glass...

In a human life... we could kill an infinite amount of insects and think nothing of it... with the zoom this picture has set you can see that the only thing with any color or personality is the moth... the human has no color... and within those few seconds a human can take to kill a moth the moth suddenly becomes that insignificant that killing it is actually alright...

Wow, that's some deep thinking - thank you for this comment! Maybe thinking further it's worth not killing the moth because it is more beautiful (colourful) than thought on the first view ...
