Wow... this is really beautiful. I'm very partial to flower work being a fan of Mapplethorpe and am only recently starting to photograph them myself. They're tough to capture really well. I mean... it's easy to take a picture of a flower and have the FLOWER be pretty. But you managed to take a picture of a flower and have the PICTURE be pretty. It's very delicate and sensuous. Really nice work. The contrasting light on each side just add to the whole illusion that if you touch it, it'll melt.
