Well if she's a witch / unicorn, can't she teleport off the stake and make a break for it? Unless they put one of those horn ring things on her.

Witch lost her horn a few years back and now wears a false one. The magic still works but its risky and dangerous since shes still learning to use it.

So maybe try something less magic intense, like a magic bullet to cut the ropes. Kinda grasping at straws to save her. ^_^

I'm sorry. I just can't stand the way Trixie's character was written: To make people NOT LIKE HER. There's a difference between character flaws, and shallow characters.

So Trixie's fault was that she showed RD, Rarity and AJ their place when they tried to interrupt her show and ruin it for no apparent reason. That makes her shallow and written especially for everyone not to like her... is that right?

The overly almighty attitude was what got me. I've personally never seen a Magician character that had all that talk, and ended up being nothing but. Besides, the thing with AJ/Rarity/RD was just as much at Trixie's instigation as it was theirs. Not saying they don't hold ANY blame, but Trixie isn't innocent either.
IMO, the only character that even did the REMOTELY right thing was Twilight.
