She does follow the Hippocratic oath. Her own machinations have nothing to do with her job.
However is it known that is she is on duty to draw blood a few pouches will mysteriously go missing.

It's "natural".
She has a series of spots on her legs and face and they are natural but people who meet her assume it's something like blood.

She's a doctor who is a exceedingly old vampire who wanders back and forth between her "real life" and her "fantasy life" (Her real life is where she lives a normal life as a doctor in manehatten and her fantasy life is where she lives in a traveling circus as their medic and one of their freaks.)
