Description
I created this locomotive using MS Paint. It took me a little over an hour and a half, I had already created the flatbed and wheel sets for a prior project but everything else was done last night. This locomotive has no prototype but does have a resemblance to the Dunkirk Class A logging locomotives. I can see this locomotive leading a train of work cars plus a combination sleeper/café car for a branch line of a Class 2 or 3 railroad. I would keep this at the standard gauge but with a little work it could be adapted for the narrow gauge track. I personally would go for a cream and hunter green paint job on the cab with 2 diagonal red safety stripes and keep the metalwork brightly polished but otherwise unpainted. The deck could be either wood or diamond plate steel.
