Description
I like the inspection trains as they each had their own personalities and appearances based on their need. Mine I created from the 1890s single truck "bobber" type caboose. The boiler is fed by the water tank beneath the frame and the liquid fuel tank beneath the rear car. The boiler then feeds high pressure steam into a turbine which in turn drives a generator and finally powers a electric traction motor on each axle.
Both cars are permanently linked.
