Can I ask what's happening on the lights layer? I mean what tones do you use, is it in overlay?...
Love the process <3
Bilbo looks amazing too! You rock!

What kind of process and tools you use for the Shadows and Lights layers? They almost look like a 3D render, I must say.

You got some really good stuff I don't know why it's in the undiscoved selection, and the tutorials are pretty well done.

How do you layer each of these. I get what's going on, but not how they're combined. Thanks for sharing your process Javas!

more or less would be like this:
From Bottom to top
1-flat colors layer (at the bottom of everything)
2-shadows layer
3-lights layer
4-lines layer (in top of everything)

All layered as 'normal' or is anything 'multiply' or 'screen'?

This is great! Thanks for sharing your process with us.
On your overlay layer, I saw further down in the comments that you mostly use red, yellow and blue. Do you have a general rule about which colors apply to which areas of the figure? If you'd rather wait until your tutorial vid to explain it, I understand. Great work!

colors I use always depends on the piece Im making, and the colors of the background wich directly affect on wich colors I should use for lights and shades. In this case I used those 3 because i imagined him in a sunny day with a blue sky. Yellowish white for the sunlight, red for the certain spots where the light touches the shadows, and blue as an atmospheric light, since the sky is blue
thanks!
