Does the shadow go over the flat color, or does the flat color go over the shadow? and I assume you use a multiply effect for..whichever one does go on the top?

I dont use the same everytime, but the most generic for me would be a desaturated purple. I set it in multiply mode ^^Β

Quick question tho, regarding the shadows layer. Do you use plain black and a certain blending layer style? If so which one?

I never use black or grey, always I use some color for the shadows wich I set in multiply mode. Once you overlay some layers, you get black only at the darker places. thanks mang

But you can work on grey scales either, then modify it with hue and saturation in order to get cold or warm tones. Isn't it?
