Chin-Sun was born and raised in America, but her parents were born in South Korea and moved to the States to start a new life. As such she's had a tough childhood with the pressure of trying to get into higher education despite never doing well in school, compared to her older sister who seemed to excel in academia. Her friend group was rather small, but still her own. But when the time came to graduate, they travelled to universities and colleges around the country, leaving her behind in Metro City. They still used video chat, texted, and social media platforms, but it wasn't the same as being in person.

Being forced to land a job at a cafe and seeming stuck in her lot, Chin-Sun's luck seemed to be down until she found a customer had left his wallet behind. It was stacked with money, and Chin-Sun soon learned how many things people forgot in restaurants, cars, and other places, leading to a life of theivery. She hit the wrong target one day and stole Intel from a LILAC thug and discovered the existence of Purple Vixen and her plan for world domination. Before reporting this to the authorities, some LILACs confronted her and made her an offer: use her skills as a thief to work for LILAC, have a new place in this world, or report this to the authorities that Vixen had already paid off. Naturally, Chin-Sun chose to join the LILACs and has since been receiving training to commit to her first job. It's a big jump from stealing jewels from cars, but the pay will be worth it. And the fact that she has friends now and a comfortable uniform helps out.
