Two elemental "Myths", one fire and one light, together they are simply "Firelight".

Chapter 1
There's a storm rolling in?
A hoodied figure laying on a blanket underneath a remote bridge put down the book she was reading and inhaled the musty scent of the coming thunderstorm from the east. The weather forecaster she'd overheard on the radio earlier that morning hadn't said anything about the possibility of storms for the day, making it a highly suspect event. Nonetheless, she felt prepared. She'd been waiting for that potential moment for a few months.
Well. That wasn't entirely true.
She'd prepared for this moment for a few months on Earth. Back in her native world, called Soharana by its inhabitants, she'd been raised to prepare for what was coming her entire life, from as early as she could remember. Every member of age in her family had followed the same path before her, and it was finally her turn to show them what she had learned and put her skills to use.

Phew this pic took me a few days but I'm happy with the way it came out since this was the most time I've spent on an original piece where I didn't use a base. Slowly getting away from bases and working on my own stuff, since I know I can always use improvement.
