Not sure if this is where this should be submitted... if I have the wrong place, will someone please let me know?This tutorial was created in and references Photoshop, specifically photoshop 7.something. Hope it's useful.

*rather belated reply* Thank you for your comment! I spent quite a while poking at photoshop before I figured out some of the more basic techniques, and figured that it'd be nice to share. ^.^ One of the greatest things about DevArt is knowing that any trick I learn CAN be shared, that others will be able to get as much use out of it as I have.

I shoulda said 'fey ears' - the technique's the same for drastic points or just extentions.
