Halo Fan art yet again. Two orange-armored Grunts, from the Silent Cartographer level.Roughtly 17 hours, done with adobe photoshop. Sketched on paper.

Aaaaaaaaahhhh, the grunts, my favourite alien character from Halo. They are so cuuute! -:3 but they can be so annoying! First they can seem to be cocky badasses, but when they're out of ammo, they turn into fleeing whimps. Hahahahaha, aaah, Ilove them :3

My favorite weapon to kill these are the assault riffle from Halo one... My nickname for said weapon? The Grunt Basher or Grunt Smasher. It fits, as that is all I do to them. I refuse to waste bullets on them. lol

Excellent technique, and their body language is so, well, Grunt-ish. Skittish, slightly paranoid, but ready just the same. Cannon fodder is exactly what I called them the first time I played through. It got so I was feeling bad about killing them:
"aww, come 'ere you little munchkin and give me a hug. I don't really need to slaughter you like I did your packmates..."
"Enemiiiiiiiies!"
*zap! zap!*
"Ow! You little bastard!"
*punts it across the room*
I kinda pictured them as having fine blue fur, though. That would have been even cuter.
