I like how you achieved the feeling of airly abyss beneath him by adding extra space to the bottom of composition. He seems to fly really high, and the light visible through his wings enchances this feeling.

But, I will tell ya this. If you look at the dragon without perspective, looking not for a dragon, there is a secondary image presented by the silhouette. Very alien, very cool. Gotta keep an eye on that silhouette, make it very defined, or it'll turn on you.

Your pieces with the vast, beautiful skyscapes and flying dragons are always a personal favorite of mine. You always seem to give them this unique quality ... gah.
