Was it originally created digitally or hand rendered?

It was drawn and inked on paper, then colored in photoshop using a tablet.

Fantastic image. I've been thinking of getting a tablet.
How about Wacom's Bamboo for a start or is it too basic?
Maybe the Intuos would be better but a price jump for sure.
