Description
About 36 hours worth of work in Adobe Photoshop, done over a period of two nights. Worked from a pencil sketch. Trilliums are those white flowers there, some people know them by their common name "Mayflowers"."They say if you sit there long enough with your crystals and beads, the fireflies will come and dance on the evening breeze...."
Most of that image was spent at 200% zoom or greater by the way, using 2 pixel and 3 pixel sized brushes. Oh...and for the record, all brushes used are the standard brushes that come with the program. No fancy shmancy downloaded brushes fer me~!
I'm not fixing a damn thing. My arthritis is going nuts because of the cold... my hands hurt. A lot. And I'm sick of working on it.... 9_9; *points* Critique Discouraged. Keep that in mind if you're inclined to leave a comment.

No critique needed at all. Holy god. The detail is over freaking' whelming. Its stunning! Ahhh! The soft light, the fur, the ferns, the grass, the jewlery, the log, the moss, the everything.

I'm glad you decided to uploade this to DA, despite some of the recent.. umm.. incidents.
It does need a little more work, but I completely understand the "GGRRR! NO MORE!" thing, so please don't hurt me for that. The details are absolutely grogeously done, especially in the grass and ferns in the background. The lighting is just wonderful too and I really like the glow on the tips of the fox's fur.

wow 36h . hrrr i also work sometimes so long at a pic. the first day it works and the next day it wont work and what i draw looks not as good as the first day XD.

Ouch, talk about detail! And the concept is just beautiful, too, as well as the final image. I especially love the texture on the trees and the log - for some reason I keep staring at that moss. It's all absolutely lovely, as usual!
