First and foremost...
HAPPY 14th DANNIVERSARY!
Good fucking lord 14 years wtf phandom y r u still active lmao
Anyway, I celebrate it by presenting with an adult version of Danny and Michelle. Specifically what they appear as in Annelise's story. They're both 36. Michelle certainly looks more mature but Danny....is hard. I mean it's widely accepted that his hairstyle just never changes...and both Hartman and Stephen Silver just kinda confirmed that?
But I still like the goatee. He just looks like a buff teenager without it
also added a bit of sideburn action just to TRY and make him look aged. He's still a little too young for obvious graying to be showing so I improvised. And giving him a sense of fashion is hard since...he's so simplistic. So I changed it up a bit. I also gave him a couple of battlescars for added effect.Anyway, I felt like they needed to be updated anyway.

Michelle just looks absolutely perfect. She seems to have strayed away from her grunge-inspired outfit to something more motherly and mature. Plus, her hairstyle is just right for a mother of three and its quite long too. Overall, I love her appearance and the look just suits her so well, Danny on the other hand...
...I don't know. I really didn't want to sound harsh or blunt, but I'm not entirely sure if I agree with the fact that you've given him the same hairstyle and just accepting it because Hartman and Silver have drawn it that way (I just don't like the fact that is supposedly accepted that he carries that hairstyle into his adult years, like, come on, everyone changes their hair.). Hairstyle aside, I do like the sideburns, goatee (the pointy bush leaf goatee) and the battle scars you've given him, that does add some maturity onto Danny and his body shape is something worth of his growth. I do understand your points on how difficult it is to design an older Danny, because I find it troubling too. I'm just salty that (mostly) everyone just goes along with him looking the same way as an adult and not bothering why. Sometimes, I think its because its down to cartoon physics and aging a character up doesn't matter, just as long as they look 'older'.
Sorry for the rant, but awesome job! At least I can see what they both look like in your current story!

I'll be honest, it's hard to imagine Danny with another hairstyle. I don't think he styles his hair anyway so I'd imagine the only way it would change if it grows or he gets it cut

I do think the key to doing another hairstyle for Danny is to make sure he is still, well, Danny. You don't want to completely alter him to the point where the new design doesn't resemble him at all, yet it is somewhat a good effort to do something different. Even down to him having facial hair too. The series doesn't show too many males with facial styles of hair, but I have been collecting some concept work which can help towards my vision of adult Danny and it helps too! These are some hairstyles which I think could suit him, maybe a shorter cut like this (kind of adore this one to be honest) , longer in the bangs and still kind of resembling his teenager self , somewhat thicker on top orΒ something like this . I think even the outfits are difficult to design too, I wouldn't know what kind of normal clothing Danny would wear at that age. Suppose he isn't the type for jumpers, collar shirts or daddy polo shirts. Also, I always found the clothing styles in Danny Phantom a bit wacky at times.
Thanks for understanding and I didn't want to sound too blunt about him, but just something that's been bugging me since the whole 10 years later scene. Maybe, somebody will impress us all with a reasonable Danny design without him looking like a baby-faced teenager.

Well I'll definitely keep those in mind then, thanks for the suggestions! And I feel you on the wacky clothing, that's what happens when middle aged men try to design teenagers. Not that they're terrible, but I definitely feel like some do need improvements.
It's cool, like I said I understand! Since Danny ain't my character he's pretty much free game to redesign as we please anyway.

Happy to help out a friend! Just proves that they haven't got any good fashion sense. Maybe some character's outfits are alright, but its mainly got to do with the colour schemes of some, they can be a bit clashing or too in your face to look at. The only outfit I really love is Danny Phantom's outfit burn his adult one in the trash with loads of gasoline thrown in.

Ooooh interesting detail on the battle scars on Danny. Also, sideburns do look pretty good on him I think. I really enjoy Michelle's design here though.
