Description
I wanted to give Rex a unique look as Ghostfreak (didn't want him looking like Ben's Ghostfreak). I made his upper skin like the collar of his jacket and the black stripes on his arms being similar to the orange stripes on his jacket. I did my best to incorporate his hair in the form of a wisp, part of the skin on his head is slightly torn, showing parts of his neck and his tail is out. Obviously, the Omnitrix peels out of his skin.One thing that is unique about this Ghostfreak is that Zs'Skayr is not the DNA Source (this is because when Rex created his Omnitrix, Ghostfreak's DNA had been removed). I thought it would be humorous if the DNA came from a female Ectonurite who isn't evil, just a mischievous prankster. She at first was mad at being trapped and, once she got out, would prank the heck out of Rex, but after a while, she has grown attached to him (Rex being the first human she's come across).
Anyways, his abilities are similar to Ben Ghostfreak and Zs'Skayr:
- Being a ghost, he can:
- Levitate and Fly
- Turn invisible and intangible (both good for infiltrating high-security locations and a powerful defense)
- Possess the bodies of people, whether friends or enemies
- He can pass on his intangibility and invisibility onto other people and objects he is in contact with.
- Possesses tentacles under his protective skin that can be used as a means to frighten his enemies into submission. The can also be used as lethal weapons by growing sharp thorns.
- Is immune to energy absorption, the effects of Corrodium, and the zombification powers of Ormerowon.
- Sharp claws that can cut through steel. Also, he cans stick his claws into a person's head, casing them grow pain and even knock the out.
- Due to being alive in a rather unconventional sense, Rex as Ghostfreak can survive the vacuum of space.
- Ghostfreak can alter his shape and deform like gas by making himself into a grey, somewhat transparent smoke-like wispy form.
- Movable eye (only with protective skin).
True Form:
- Can project powerful energy beams from either the tentacles in his chests and or his hands whenever the skin is peeled back.
- Has telekinesis, allowing him to move objects and people with just a thought.
- If exposed to total darkness, like that of space, Ghostfreak's powers and abilities would be greatly enhanced to his full potential.
- Rotatable head.
Trivia:
- One of Rex's Omega Builds, the Block Party, is the most useful build in this form. While as Ghostfreak, the Block Party is changed to not only provide defense, but can also cover any given area in total darkness (think of how Vegeta made an artificial moon as a way to turn into Oozaru). Thanks to this, Rex as Ghostfreak can access his True Form Full Power at anytime so long as the Block Party remains in use.
- His tentacles can be combined with the Blast Caster, increasing their dexterity, strength and can channel electricity (and since he has multiple tentacles, imagine the shock power).
- The female Ectonurite that is the DNA Source of Ghostfreak has on occasion taken control of Rex's body when he's sleeping merely as a way to experience a human's life. She has no evil intentions.
