Description
Vesta was an eccentric girl who enjoyed biking through the industrial streets of kahza-Nirovsk. Not one to have many friends or keep those she did have, her brash nature would land her and those around her in trouble. She worked with explosives and helped head a company she didn't care for, but in the end she just loved freedom and her bike. Eventually she would cause more trouble than any imagined.
This is an old image of Vesta (originally seen here jayaxer.deviantart.com/art/EPI… ) that I never finished. It was going to be a painting so I sketched it out digitally and began throwing up colours but never got around to it. Sometimes when I am going to do a painting my underdrawing is just scratched out digitally like this. Then once I splatter colours on it I will just paint right on top of it in photoshop until finished.
Thanks for taking a look!

Hey, I have a friend who's interested in commissioning you and wondering if you have any instant messaging apps he could contact you with like Telegram or Hangouts or something since he doesn't have a DA.

That bike is amazing. Do you use a lot of rulers an guides when drawing something like that or do you just draw it freehand and are amazing?

So are there any plan to move forward with EPITHET? Or is it kind of a long lost project by this point?
And as always your attention to detail is truly incredible.

It was a very different time and my life took a turn since then ( a positive turn) that had me pretty much shelf doing the project. However the work remains and the characters and story remains, it may just end up being used in a very different way down the line. Epithet proper won't be getting made, though.

Thanks!
I used to have to force myself so do it. I would decide to draw something complex and kind of take a deep breath and force through it, focusing best I could because I didn't have a good attention span for it. It can be a lot of moving stuff around ,erasing and putting things in better/more accurate places, etc..but over time I found I didn't have to force myself to focus on it anymore..I'd simply done it so much that it became natural. Just a profit from a ton of practice I guess.

Before I go to colour I try to lock down a drawing so that it looks decent even as a sketch 9which is what this one technically is) so that once it gets coloured it will still look good and I don't have to try to colour it better to cover up for a bad drawing.
I do what I can!

I'm always impressed by all the details you put on all your clothes and accessories like the bike here.

I still make a lot of detail linearts and such nowadays, but I reel it in sometimes and give it more of a balance than I used to.
I still enjoy showing all the seams and intricacies of outfits and the like. It's fun!

A lady and her bike, that's a relationship that will never end in heartbreak, unless she gets into a mean accident
Awesome job on her outfit, too!

She has a mean streak that only gets meaner the closer someone gets to her bike.
