Actually, it was moderately difficult, getting all the curves to cooperate and merge together properly. I can still see it's not 100% symmetrical, but it's almost symmetrical anyway. :-/
Your cutie mark wouldn't be too difficult to convert to this style, I think. THIS is a pony whose cutie mark would make me cry if I tried to convert to this style: [link]
