It is disheartening to lose family (my daughter's family want nothing to do with her), but know that your love will be all that she needs in the long run.

yeah sometimes as much as we want those people in our lives, we are better off. my family hasn't completely deserted me, i just don't always feel they are there when i need them. so i still feel lucky.
im happy for you and your daughter. it sounds like she has a very strong, smart mother!

yeah i just read about the postpartum stuff in one of my books last night. just wanted to prepare myself for the symptoms. but im definitely keeping my focus on her. dont want unnecessary emotions getting in the way of the important things.

yeah i have a history of depression, so its good to know someone who has gone thru it before. i am glad you were able to get thru it safely. i have heard horror stories.

the best bet is make an appointment ahead of time with someone to discuss and INCASE plan of action if not taking med. I refused to take unless I needed so we had a plan of action in place and it worked wonderfullly
