That particular shot was taken at a place called De Keukenhof which is a magical place for taking pictures of spring flowers.
It's one of my older uploads, and someone suggested adding a frame to it the other day. So I obliged. I may re-upload once more, might need some minor fiddling.

Especially with the light behind them, they seem to be carved out of glowing metal

It's beautiful, but I think a border would do really well for all of your photographs. If you use it correctly you could easily focus the eye and emphasize the photograph

I'm slowly catching up on bordering the older deviations after several people suggested that proper framing makes them look so much better.
