Description 9-17-10
The other main goal I have for the new season is to bring a little more personality and depth to the character of Dick. Really, he's been portrayed as an unfortunate stereotype up to this point, and I'd like to move past that a little bit.

I want him to still be kind of a dorky tool, but maybe not the total a-hole that Curt always perceived him as. The challenge is writing a character whose beliefs are at odds with my own.

Well, just because he's been played as a stereotype doesn't mean he isn't the archetype for it.
Although, he certainly is ingratiating enough for it.
BTW, Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
Cl-ass-ic!
I wonder why we don't see Dickie-boy's Father's face…

I'm not sure...for whatever reason, I never showed his face in the early seasons, and then he didn't show up for many years...I don't remember if I had a reason for it....

Hmm…
Maybe he isn't all that his boy thinks he is?
I mean, when AREN'T corporate executives the root of all evil?
