Apologies for the lack of even basic backgrounds, I just ran out of time and energy. Tried to really improve my figures, using some photo reference and slowing down a bit. Not drawing like crap is hard work!

Did a good job on Curt, but some of Jess' proportions look a bit odd from time to time. Like her arms and heels in the second to last panel, or hand in the second one.
Love how the inset closeup of her cuts off Curt. Because that bit really is all about her. Also that close up is your best expression on her in the comic this time. Nice one.
Love the closing line also.

Yeah, I have panels I really like in this one and ones I rally struggled with. Any time you try to do anything other than boring, straight-on, things get trickier. Thanks for the kind words, especially about the panel of her cutting off Curt, that was the point, there's a complete drawing behind it...I almost changed it because I thought it might seem odd, but I'm glad I left it that way.
