This is great! Could I take a shot at inking this? Any advice for someone starting out in comics?

Probably a silly question but how do you get your pencils to show up so well. Darker lead or is it the scan and adjustment in Photoshop? Excellent page by the way!

I use HB lead and just press hard lol
I do adjust it in photoshop after a little bit, but it stays pretty dark on the page.

Got it. I just need to apply more pressure. lol. I've noticed some guys just add some deeper outlines on the final pass. Probably to help the inker see clearly. Keep up the great work!

Recently I switched to 2H lead because I found the HD lead was coming off too light on some pages and digging into the page too much. I kinda jump back and forth depending on what Im doing. My biggest pet peeve is smudging and getting the page all dirty and with 2H lead, its a nighmare, but as long as someone is inking it, I'm good!

Thats my thing too. I bounce around on my art too much and I rest my hand on the paper as I draw so I smudge constantly. I've been adding a piece of paper under my hand about half way through the art. Thats helps a bit. You every use a fixative or hair spray over your stuff?
