I have a storyline that takes place in a place called the Nowhere Lands www.deviantart.com/art/The-Now… The idea of this is that the Nowhere Lands are a extremely remote and cold place. In it the humans are trying to adapt to it.

Thousands of people try living in the Nowhere Lands. What mainly happens to them is they go home when things don't work out for them. But some people go insane in that the Nowhere Lands is sort of supernatural and likes to play mind tricks on people. You know where you will be walking or driving along and see something popping up out of the miles of flat lands and grass that doesn't belong there.
The main human character in my fan fiction lives in a military base in the Nowhere Lands and must defend it from the dangers of various groups trying to invade it to terrorize the local population.
