My old ref sheet for Jayfrost was starting to look pretty old and wonky, and someone mentioned wanting to draw Jay Frost (the canon character from Warriors named after me, still my greatest achievement ) so I decided to make a new and improved ref sheet for my fursona. I used this cat as a reference for the pose .

Same as before, she's got a medium-length pelt, scruffy fur, a thick-furred tail, and cheek fur that tufts out to the side. All of her colors are the same as on her last sheet, and her lynx point tabby design is almost entirely the same, but I did change some of the striping to look a bit more realistic while still keeping those V markings on her shoulders and hips. I also changed her face stripes to look a bit more similar to a badger (my nod to my Hufflepuff affiliation that I added to the design ages back).

The feathers by her ear have gotten a bit of an overhaul - they're based on a feather clip I bought at and wear to the local renaissance festival. I added the jay feathers as a nod to Jayfrost's name, of course, and I changed the acorn pin to a RiverClan pin since they're my favorite Clan. If anyone's using this as a ref for drawing Jayfrost, it's just three royal blue feathers in front, a peacock feather with one longer jay feather on either side to it in the middle row, and two longer kinda irridescent feathers coming off the end. Feel free to simplify it if need be.

Her markings are identical on each side, except for two exceptions. She only has the feather clip in front of her left (our right) ear, and she has that spot on her cheek only on her right (our left) side.

Overall, I'm really, really pleased with how this turned out. The pattern changes are small, but I think really help the design overall, and the anatomy looks so amazing this time.
