Finally, here is the last ref sheet needed for COTF. I'm going to at least start on the cover for book six tonight (I had a huge nap earlier, so I might stay up a while longer), and if not tonight, then tomorrow, I'll post the cover, allegiances, and prologue for book six. I can't wait to finally start the last book of EOTW. It's still weird to think that EOTW is almost over, but at the same time, I've missed being able to write for it since I started on these ref sheets. I'll be great to start up again.

So here is Leafpool's new sheet. She really needed an upgrade from her old sheet, I was never happy with the anatomy on the last one, and her stripes just looked weird. This looks much better, in my opinion. She's small, with a slight build and smaller ears than the last one - not really sure where she got that small build from, as neither of her parents are small. I'll just say she got it from Princess and Nutmeg, like her pattern.

I made a lot of changes from her old design. She's still pale brown, but I saturated the fur color a fair bit (not enough to make it light brown as opposed to pale, which I personally see pale as being grayer). I also lightened the stripes, lightened the belly fur, and saturated the belly fur colors. The face stripes are the same, but the body stripes are much simpler and look a lot better. I also changed her eye color. I'm not sure why she had golden-ish eyes on her last ref sheet, as she's clearly described with amber eyes in the books. I had a sudden idea to give her the exact same shade of amber eyes as her son Lionblaze, to make it clearer their connection and to show that he did inherit something from her (as well as a more golden shade of her brown fur, though they aren't totally similar). I mean, Lionblaze is just a reincarnation of Lion's Roar, so he probably looks exactly like Lion's Roar and that's why he doesn't look as much like his parents. But maybe there were enough small differences from Lion's Roar, like the shift in eye shade, to show some similarity.

I also gave her a white chin and a small dabbing of white on her muzzle. I was going to go without it, since she's never described as actually having a white muzzle in the book, but it just didn't look right without at least a little white on the muzzle. So I compromised and just made her chin white, an little white on the muzzle.
