"Little Electron was my first Pokémon. The poor dear is dreadfully sweet, if a little scuffed up - they're missing two screws, and the holes are totally stripped so replacing them is nearly impossible to do reliably. I've offered to repaint their magnets, but they have no interest... they may be a bit worn, but they're about the most reliable companion and lab assistant one could ask for.

Though I have tried several models of my own design, Electron prefers their original Poké Ball, I believe largely for sentimental reasons. It is, of course, most important to allow your Pokémon that freedom of choice, as much as I would love if they used one of my specialized ones... In Electron's case, they spend most of their time out and about anyway, usually only returning to their Ball to sleep and, even then, often preferring to stay by my bedside outlet."
