Hey guys! Sorry I missed the update last week. I'm still planning on doing a Split Screen drawing this week, I haven't come up with any good ideas yet but I'll keep y'all posted."Like" Split Screen on Facebook: www.facebook.com/splitscreenco…
EDIT: This comic has been updated. I've gone through and replaced all of the old pages with the remastered versions that appeared in the printed version. The book is available on Amazon and includes an exclusive 10 page epilogue. Buy it here: www.amazon.com/dp/1500288136/r…

I think this comic shows a lot of soulful insight into how misguided altruism (when combined with self doubt and the selfish urge to avoid rocking the boat) can ironically make us objectify other people. By objectify, I mean, placing somebody on a pillar as an idol to be admired from afar, yet at the same time deny them the human capacity to speak for themselves on what they want or what is good for them. Although all of the parties involved bear some responsibility, I'd say that Jeremy is probably the most in the wrong here despite his good intentions. He treated Natalie mostly as a cover for his own insecurities and put Jan up upon a pedestal yet didn't give her the human dignity of making the call of what was in her own best interest.

Jer Bear really is "paumé" (clueless or Lose, I do not know what to choose for translation. Ha ha ). I look forward in Jan found that Jeremy!♥

I think the lighter lines work? I liked the thicker lines from before, but with the finer brush the heavy blacks don't bleed into the lineart as much. So it was an experiment that worked!
Hoo boy, this fake relationship is not going to last is it...
