Hey, I dont know if you have a hard copy of this thats all real clear and stuff... But I think you have something here... I see so many good things in this. (hesitant to call it a picture because i feel like its a lot more than that.) The ground has so much contrast to the right of the tree... looks like some really cool style illustration. the composition and balance of this is really amazing, you have the darks on the right just perfectly framed with the lights on the left. anyway, if you have a hard copy and can get a real good quality scan of it, go into photoshop and SLIGHTLY darken the fog, so you can see a little more of the detail (that your camera actually did pick up im sure). Again, this is great!!!

Oh my gosh, you are so sweet. I can't believe you noticed all that. Yes, it is a picture. Didn't you see the date at the bottom? Thanks again for your comment. That more than made my day.

Eerie is a good word. It was spectacular in person. I think some of the best shots are ones you aren't expecting to get.

yes. i must agree with you. i took a random shot, not really knowing where it was pointing, and the outcome was pretty wild (well.. it just looked neat.)

I took that shot years ago, before I really started taking photography seriously. I had gone out camping one day, looking for something to shoot, and I think I was trying to hard. Sometimes you just happen upon things.

This one was untouched. I didn't manipulate at all. I liked the dark outcome.
Thank you so much for your kind remark.

I like this one, too. Its wonderful! If you crop the bottom a bit (like around the middle of the clump of grass) it'll be even more impressive.

I agree with batisi3o9! This looks like a beautiful painting. Very nice! It reminds me of paintings done by Windburg (I think that was the name).
