Description
This is something REALLY different from me. I took this at a local fair. The carnival known as the Stockshow comes once a year. It is where you can show your prized livestock and win prizes and sell them. Plus its the best time of the year for the kids cuz its the biggest/funnest event we have down here.
They even schedule spring break to coincide with the event. Anyways, I had never tried motion photography and this is my first attempt. Please go easy on any critiques but they are welcomed of course. This is a submission for the "Too fast for you" contest. [link] Submitted to =Wonderful-World

This is a great photo! I think the crowd fits in really well, most of them seem to be still with everything moving fast around them. If you don't like the blurred guy at the front, you could have taken the picture twice and then photoshopped in the background once he had moved out of the way

I love the vibrancy and energy of this piece! The inclusion of the crowd blurring in-and-out of the picture, and how you framed the rides, really make it special.

really? I was so up in the air on the people. I felt like they took away from the rides, but I guess when you have something so bright, its hard to take away from it. I was so thrilled to see both of the rides together. I really wanted both of them in the frame. Thank you.

even with the man.. it's still a great photo! i like this one because you've got things spinning in all different directions and all different colors and strengths. great combination!

This really is a good image for your first time. The guy in the foreground is a tad distracting, but in these cases its tough to find the perfect moment...I think you did a great job!
