This looks a helluva lot better than the previous one.
I like how it kinda looks like it's emanating light from within, like it's full of chaos energy.
Chaos doesn't look right when it's too transparent. He's more than just H20.

And I mean it too. Sonic Team rendered him very well in Forces, and while it was very novel to see him in HD, he just looked like regular water, and wasn't even blue. I don't know.
I guess he kinda looks weak when he isn't at least a little opaque.
