yay more original art c: It’s so refreshing after only drawing fanart for so long. I used a photo to help with the bg that a friend took during her trip to japan. I had a photo underneath which I painted over. (no easy way out hehe) umm painting over it was like blobbing in the basic colours and shapes, (I used fringe effect in sai for the blobing cus it gives a nice little lineart effect) then I used a few multiply and overlay layers to make the lighting nicer.

Really cute! Definitely evokes anime/manga confession scenes, and I like how the colors/blurring put the focus on the girl rather than the backdrop without entirely pushing it aside.
