recently got the uber rare and expensive original official kerberos mask from 20 years ago, and i dont want to build it, so i moulded it and put it back in box. these are the castings so far, need to fill bubble holes, sand edges, drill out eye holes, add lenses and paint flat black, but hopefully they will look great in the end!to see the official mask check my review on my blog kerberossaga.blogspot.com

Β I too would be interested in a casting. I actually have an original but my casting skills aren't up to par and, like you, I didn't want to ruin it. Looks like you did a nice job on the mold!

ah, that one! its not finnished, as that one i was sculpting got smashed into about 5 pieces by accident, so i will be restarting the project when i return to uk. i will sculpt in better material this time, so hopefully better result. j

the helmet pictured is the official kerberos panzer cops: stray dog helmet by buildup (the company who made the movie suits) so i dont have any spare and cant get hold of any for an affordable price, but i have been on the lookout for a cheap plastic alternative that i can buy in bulk for customising. most are far too underscaled, with one i bought from an online shop so flimsey it has crease marks! so im scouring ebay for good deals, waiting for something along the line of the swat style helmets for airsoft gaming, as they are cheap, but the german wwii style helmets for airsoft arent cheap as usually they are steel. i checked a couple of hk stores for german helmets while i was there with no luck, as the only ones i saw were really expensive. i have a spanish war helmet back home, which is almost identical, but its dented so i didnt mold it. i might end up sculpting over the dents then molding and casting it at a later date. j

OK Looks like I have to make my own replicas. I got 2 steel M45 German replica helmets I can mold. I'm building the Kerberos Saga Tetsuro Kai costume 1:1

awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! its about time someone did! i would like to make it, but i am a noob with niether the time, money, experiance, supplies or patience for it, but i do aim to make at least the helmet shield, that is my target at the moment, then if that goes well the foot armour.

I think its the only armor worth doing, many people did a so so job on the older versions, I'm planning to make sets of these.

awesome!!!!! yeah, its definitely the best armour. if you are making sets im soooo n for one! about time i got a full armour. the other armour versions havent been done so well i agree, the nightmare armour studios stray dog armour was terrible, and the madefuns one on ebay of kerberos panzer cop armour is inaccurate and undersized. the best one i saw was a one off by donneAnonyme [link]
very nicebut it was made in gymnastic foam, so not hard armour and easy to damage. looks great though.

I'll make mine out of resin Fiberglass. If I have kevlar fiber cloth I'd reinforce it but that be waaay too expensive. LOL. I'll contact you once the project starts.
