*(Y/N)'s P.O.V*
I walked the dark road alone, I could barely see anything. The path I was on was dirt, either side of the road tall trees loomed over. The leafless branched appearing much more intimidating shadowed by the night sky then they did during the day.

I rubbed my hands up and down my arms nervously, fear sank in. I had no idea where I was, I had no idea where I was going. I was alone, and scared, I hadn't seen anyone here except Cheshire and my last meeting (the first meeting) was days ago.

I was alert but afraid to be alert in case I heard something I didn't want to hear. Saw something I didn't want to see. I never knew how scary it was too be alone until now.

I could see glowing eyes in the distance, yellow eyes. I trembled as they locked on my figure. More eyes popped up, I had never heard silence so loud before. It was like I was an ant in a world of giants. I bit my lip, there was a snickering, not like Cheshire's, oh no much more sinister.

I felt a gust of wing brush the back of neck and I shivered "Come to me" the forest whispered. I couldn't take it, I was terrified, so unbelievably scared I would've given anything just to drop dead in that moment so I wouldn't have to live through this nightmare.

I dropped to my knees, not caring if I ripped a hole in my stockings or not. Squeezing my eyes shut and holding my hands close to my chest I let out a faint whisper "Cheshire".

Suddenly it wasn't as cold anymore, warm, comforting arms surrounded me. I peaked my eyes open, in front of me was a light fur coated chest. There was a sigh "honestly, the things you and your cousin get into", it was him. It was Cheshire. He came for me.

I peeled my arms away from my chest and wasted no time to wrap them around his waist. Burying my head in his soft shoulder, with a protective arm around me he turned to the eyes "all of you, be gone" the eyes then began to separate into millions of small, harmless fireflies.

The forest wasn't so scary anymore, now that Cheshire was here. The cat/man gently gripped my bent elbows and helped me to stand "we, miss (Y/N)" are getting out of here, hooking one arm under my legs and the other resting on my back he lifted me up.

I made no complaint, just because this place wasn't scary anymore doesn't mean I want to spend any more time in it. In a poof of blue an white smoke we were at a lake. Surrounded by colourful flowers which sang softly, and fireflies to light the place up.

I smiled, upon the pond I saw the moon and the stars, in the sky I saw a ripple. Like the sky was the lake and lake was the sky. This wonderland, was a true mystery.

Cheshire took a seat next to me "so you finally called for me after exactly-" he held up his fingers "3 days". I rose a brow "how did you hear me anyway? I thought you left?" I questioned, Cheshire chuckled "just because you couldn't see me doesn't mean I wasn't there".

He held up his hand and slowly, down to his wrist his appendage went see through. Invisible. I gasped "you were there this whole time? Why didn't you help me when I needed it?" I asked. Once again he chuckled "because dear, you didn't need me. You got this far on your own, when you called me you wanted me but you didn't need me" I shook my head with a smile.

Looking up at his electric blue eyes I said softly "I'll always need you" his grinning face turned to one of shock. Before he closed his eyes and chuckled, that chuckled soon turned into laughter. It wasn't long until I was laughing along with him.

Cheshire took a strand of my hair in his clawed fingertips and gently stroked it with his thumb "why are you here (Y/N)?" he asked. I blinked in surprise "well you brought me here" he shook his head "in Wonderland I mean, you can only get here if you want it badly enough and you believe".

I looked up at the rippling sky giggling as a fish poked it's head out and then swam away "well at first I thought it was because I wanted to find my cousin Alec, but I've slowly began to realize. I'm here...for me. I wanted to belong somewhere and ended up here....do you-" I sighed "do you think I belong here?".

I glanced at him from the corner of my eye, for once he wasn't grinning "I believe you belong anywhere your heart decides to lead you" I closed my eyes smiling softly.

"And if my heart lead me too you?" I opened my eyes still looking at him from the corner of them. My head still turned to face the sky, he grinned once again revealing his sharp, shark like teeth "you belong with me" he whispered.

Leaning down to kiss the lock of hair he released his grasp on it and wound his arms around my waist pulling me too him. With my head on his chest sitting in between his legs. Both my legs resting over one of his own, the soles of my feet barely touching the edge of the sky like pond.

I craned my head up as Cheshire looked down, with another biology defying grin he swooped down capturing my lips. With minimal surprise at this action I closed my eyes reciprocating the kiss.

I ignored the prodding of his sharp teeth knowing he was trying to keep them at bay without cutting me or himself.

Maybe one day I will find Alec, but for now I'm happy alongside Cheshire, and I'm proud to say Wonderland is my home.
