*(Y/N)'s P.O.V*
The woods is an unforgiving place, make one mistake and that could be your death, years ago when i was just a little thing and i worked for the palace as a playmate to the prince, my best friend i had taken a stroll in the woods to look for some berries that Meriden and i could make paint out of next thing i knew i was staring into the eyes of the one bear you never want to run into, Mordu.

Ever since i've been locked away his is broken castle with no hope of escape, i haven't seen my friend since i was 6 years old, i'm 17 now it's been 11 years. I was allowed to bathe and read but i was to never leave unless i wanted to be mauled to death. Sighing i adjusted my dress and put the book i had gotten back. A familiar roar alerted me that Mordu was back.

I ran out the door and into the hall to wear the bear stood on its hind legs "did you bring me something from the outside?" i asked excitedly, sure he was a bear and i was supposed to be afraid, plus the face he kidnapped me, not once has be hurt me in 11 years so i was not worried

He lowered himself onto his front paws and dropped something that was in his mouth into my hands. It was an arrow head, he knew i wasn't stupid enough to d anything dangerous with it so he had no problem bringing these things to me, it was in our agreement, i would stay here 'safe' as long as he brings me things that reminded me of what outside was like.

I traced my finger along the sharp edge careful not to cut myself as Mordu went back outside slamming the doors behind him, i smiled this arrow head reminded me of Meriden, he used to have arrows just like this one. Soon i heard voices, Mordu doesn't speak so it couldn't have been him, hurrying i ran up the stairs to hide behind the barricade.

The door opened, peaking through the design i saw a male, rather tall and a female bear prodding along beside him. His hair was a fiery red, seemingly uncontrollable "hello?" he called, his voice was deep "is anybody here?" gulping i stood surprising the male and the bear who hid behind him "oh...who are you?" he asked.

Slowly i descended the stairs wary of the stranger "it's rather rude to ask people their name before stating your own" the bear behind him nudged him and nodded "well i'm- wait! That's one of my arrow heads where did you find it?" he asked looking at the metal in my hands.

I held it to my chest "it was a gift" i replied with no intention of handing it over "from who?" he asked "Mordu" i whispered. They gasped at the name "you're friends with him?" he asked "not really he kidnapped me but i wouldn't say i hate him" i shrugged. He took a step closer "please...tell me what's your name?" he asked softly.

I gulped "(Y/N), my name is (Y/N)" both the bear and the odd male were shocked "i-i can't believe it's really you (Y/N), it's me Meriden!" he yelled. I dropped the arrow head and ran at the male enveloping him in a hug "oh Meriden, i can't believe you finally found me" i whispered.

Hugging me back he nodded "i know, i never stopped looking" (which is why he was always so eager to go outside and not do his princely duties) "oh and by the way Meriden...who's the bear?".

It's been months since then, Mordu is dead and his spirit has been released, i was back to living in the palace alongside the royal family or more specifically Meriden, he introduced me to his little sisters, quite the troublemakers they are.

I was looking over the horizon on the balcony when warm arms wrapped around my torso "hello Meriden" i mumbled, resting his head on my shoulder he hummed "what are you doing?" he asked "thinking about the past" i replied turning around to face him "why? You should me worrying abut the future, as you are going to be queen" he held up my hand showing me the ring on my finger.

I laughed "i know, i know" "and you need too see the doctor to check on our heir" his hand now rested on my slightly swolen stomach. I pecked him on the lips jogging towards the door, not if you can't catch me".

Though this life will take getting used to i'm just glad, i'm finally back home.
