Star Man: "How rude! Shooting stars are falling, not rising!"

Plant Man: "Then left this place, give me the roses back, and twinkle-twinkle outta here like a little star!"

(Man, I'm impressed by how much references and puns I was able to put in this short chase dialouge...)

So, this was a request that I could even not notice if my buddy didn't noticed me in one discussion in a comment section under one of her work. Shout out to Soul for giving the idea and I hope you liked it!~
But... sorry, I've screwed up at the very end. I was eating an apple that I have just washed and it slipped out of my hand and fell on the drawing... Luckily, only one rose and empty background were affected by apple being wet. I tried to hide it by using Photoshop

So here I wanted to be more anime-like. Not only I looked back at Tales of Berseria to see all of the characters' artworks in Skits from this game, not only I looked at what screen-shots with characters' deformated faces for comedic effect I've taken from watching anime, but also I've gotten Tales of Vesperia and decided to watch as many skits in short period of time (believe me, 3 hours is a really short amount of time) as I could. Oh boy, they were ridiculously funny to hear and watch XDSorry, got a bit carried away because I now can play in ToV. I wanted to say, that I still kinda use the references, but only to make some expressions I still need to practice look more, well, expressive. Maybe I should make a post about researching and studying cartoon\anime-like expressions sometime, really

I wanted to use Robot Masters' designs from Ariga's work (like, Rockman Megamix\Gigamix\Remix mangas), but I also used classic artworks for reference... and I've kinda missed one detail... Did you know that Plantman's chest gem is on the right side in manga and not in the middle?
Yeah... I didn't noticed that unit I was done colouring... But hey, I don't need to be fully accurate to produce a nice-looking work, dont'cha think?
Also I didn't like how some of the colours were placed on classic design, so I decided to change 'em a bit so it would look more pleasing to the eye. I still hope it looks decent, tho ^.^
