The massive Cave Grove Castleships were unique warships implemented in the later half of the Second Psychic War. Each one was built with a specific purpose in mind. The Ameginos (pictured here) was built solely for the planned invasion of Earth. She was more of a troop transport and planetary assault ship than a space-battleship, even though her size made her a formidable opponent in space based combat.During the invasion of Earth at the end of the Second Psychic War, the combined Cave Grove and Felorian battle groups moved into Sol system, destroying Earthain war-satellites and pushing the Imperial Navy all the way back to the orbit of Luna. Several Castleships including the Ameginos broke through the Earhtain blockade and landed in various strategic positions around the Imperial City. The Ameginos touched down just south of the Grand Palace, in the center of Liberation Park, a massive circular park dedicated to the early empire's victory over the Ocri, one of the first alien species encountered, and the first after the Waaritech to invade Earth.
The Ameginos played a pivotal part in the siege of the Grand Palace, destroying its shield generator and pinning down its defending troops till the Cave Grove psychics arrived. The nearly three hundred thousand marines it carried dispersed into the city and held it till the palace fell, ending the War.
More to come when the model is done. And YES, it's supposed to look like a castle.

Why are these guys trying to take over the earth? There are literally COUNTLESS habitable world out there, why not pick one of those ones instead of the earth? WHY IS THE EARTH ALWAYS TARGETED BY ALIENS?!?!?!

Well, it looks like a really good ship to build a base around, it does look like a castle and should give good protection.

Damn, this looks pretty amazing. I love the idea behind it! I don't think you could get much more original in a concept for a ship. And yes, "someguynobodyknows", there was atlantis, a floating city, but I have no reason to relate that to this frankly. First and foremost, it's a castle, not a city 
But seriously, I am loving the design on this, keep it up. Can I ask: is this a WIP because you felt it was incomplete, ie, you're going to add cannons, etc, or were you interested in the feedback before signing it off as complete?

Good question, the model is definitely not done, I'm gonna go in and add crenelations to most of the towers, bridges and walls. Everything else is going to have more detail work, including the interior hangars and such, and I may put the finished model in the model of the Imperial City I've been working on.

That's strange, I could've sworn Atlantis was bigger than that, and more blue looking. (that's my strange way of saying it looks like Atlantis, specifically the one from Stargate)

Yeah, it is. More just the way the spires look and the bottom. Not really that big a resemblance, though, no.
