Description I figured the last octopus girl I drew a while ago didn't do the species justice. This one is much more similar to the scale of some of my nagas, quite a bit larger than my octopus girls were before.

Species Info
The Olipheranth species is often seen frequenting beaches of Nauca's northern shore, they usually beach to steal food and towels from those relaxing there. Their charming demeanor and harmless appearance hides a voracous appetite and lust for fabric that cannot be sated until a beach towel is in their clutches. Their tentacles are highly sensitive to touch, and an independent study shows that the reason they steal so many towels is becuase the rougher texture commonly found in beach towels is particularly attractive to them. Swimsuits are of no interest to the Olipheranth, the male of which is more commonly spotted eating birds atop bouys in bays along the continent of Nauca's northern ports. An adult Olipheranth can grow to be up to five meters long, and eats 3/4ths of it's body weight in one day. Don't leave your lunch unatended while swimming!

I think I'd gladly give up my lunch and towel for the sight of one of those. The shading and structure around the loincloth is really nice, though--great three-dimensional quality.

Hooray! I'd better stock up on extra towels then!

I really love your creativity in creating these alien species. You give them quirks and habits that no one else would think of.

Not all of my buxom creations are sex obsessed nymphos, more than a few of them greatly enjoy eating pebbles!

I could insinuate some crass comment about pebbles and rocks that would be a stretch anyway, but it'd be stupid so I'll refrain.

Some lizards and plenty of birds have what's called a gizzard, they swallow smooth rocks into their gizzard and use them to crush nuts and seeds. In this case, she would probably use them to crush bones and skulls.

Oh yikes--I remember reading about dinosaurs--the sauropods mainly--that do that sort of thing--but mostly for plants and other such hard-to-digest materials.
