i'm just wondering, how do you make your shadows look so fluid? when i do the shading on a project, it always looks way too sharp, yet the transition between the shadow and the highlights is really smooth here. would you mind sharing a few tricks? please?

I use painttool sai for starters, which enables you to blend while you paint...
