It is not uncommon for others to desire acceptance. Many fear rejection. But what good will it be to gain acceptance by compromising your faith? Love should never be at the cost of your faith in God/Jesus.
God's love is eternal. He already knew you even before you were born. He loved you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to rescue you from eternity in hell in which we deserve for our sins. He did that for you. Future eternity in Heaven with God will be worth so much more than anything we can gain in the world today. So is it worth it to deny your faith before others?
"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:26)
It is guaranteed that not everyone will be accepting of believers. It's not easy to deal with, especially to experience having friends and loved ones even reject you. But if you were ever put in a situation in which the world is against you, who would you choose to side with? The world or God? Where does your allegiance lie? When it all comes down to a great big shaking in our comfort zone, where will we turn to?

In Revalations, it states that believers will go through great persecution. So whether it looks like it or not, we are being oppressed.
Christianity is not a cult. A cult believes they are the only ones who follow the correct religion. Cults also don't allow you to communicate with other religions. I am a Christian, and I have a good friend who is a Mormon.

I really find it funny when I look through these
comments and finding non-Christians attacking

An omniscient, omnipotent being does not create an imperfect world wherein "sin" exists unless he wants to. Period.

God did not put sin on the Earth. That was the fault of the devil.
In the garden of Eden, it was man who chose the forbidden fruit. God specifically told them not to , but he didn't keep it from them. God created man with a choice so that we were not just blindly following Him.
In a situation like that, I would not hesitate to chose my God over this awful world. "At least I can be sure that it exists." How can you be sure God does not exist? The Bible has been proven.
Heaven is not an afterlife. How do you know Heaven doesn't exist, either? Christians know we have this life for sure, as well. That's why we make the best of it by bringing the message to those who need it.

No. You do not know for sure, and it is intellectually dishonest to claim otherwise. You believe, and even worse, you believe on faith, meaning you know absolutely nothing for sure but desperately want it to be true. There's a world of difference.
If you knew for sure, you could prove it to others beyond any doubt, which you can't. As it stands, there is the very real possibility that you are wrong, you can do absolutely nothing to change that, and in claiming otherwise, you delude yourself.

That's a ridiculous reason. No god gives us morals, morals exist because we would generally prefer to live in a society where people don't rape, kill, pillage and burn on a daily basis, and we've been through centuries of history full of rape, killing, pillaging and burning just to arrive at this rather simple conclusion. Because interestingly enough, your god that you claim gives you morals actually supports rape, killing, pillaging and burning - as long as it's humans of another tribe and not the jews. Hell, even slavery was just fine by him if the bible is anything to go by.
Besides, it's not like any punishment awaits you anyway as long as you believe in your jesus as your lord and savior, right? You could murder, steal, rape, whatever you want. As long as on your deathbed you "accept jesus into your heart" all your sins are forgiven. Not only that, but raping, killing and stealing don't make you a worse person than someone who was jealous once in his life or maybe desired someone else's wife, because all sins are supposedly equally bad to your god, right?
And that seems like a good basis for morality to you?
