It is not uncommon for others to desire acceptance. Many fear rejection. But what good will it be to gain acceptance by compromising your faith? Love should never be at the cost of your faith in God/Jesus.
God's love is eternal. He already knew you even before you were born. He loved you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to rescue you from eternity in hell in which we deserve for our sins. He did that for you. Future eternity in Heaven with God will be worth so much more than anything we can gain in the world today. So is it worth it to deny your faith before others?
"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:26)
It is guaranteed that not everyone will be accepting of believers. It's not easy to deal with, especially to experience having friends and loved ones even reject you. But if you were ever put in a situation in which the world is against you, who would you choose to side with? The world or God? Where does your allegiance lie? When it all comes down to a great big shaking in our comfort zone, where will we turn to?

Unless you're in medieval Japan, Saudi Arabia or a Catholic in Protestant England, there's no real danger of being Christian and by far you'll be loved more often for professing a love of god than openly admitting to being atheist.

I guess it depends on where you live. Most Christians in the USA have no reason to fear being assaulted, but they're slandered often. The stamp doesn't specifically refer to violence.

This is something I'm coming more and more aware of inside my own life. I would rather all my friends leave me, then GOD be disappointed and say I don't know Him.

It's true that he loves everyone, but that doesn't mean he forgives anyone unless they actually regret their deeds. He wants something in return, and that is our loyalty.

To me, my friends and family are the only love I need. I don't need God's "eternal" love. I don't want to live forever in paradise. I'd like to think my time on earth, in this life, is precious. Immortality just doesn't sound appealing to me. So, I guess I'd say the opposite of your stamp. Making human friends and having a companion is so much better to me than God's bond. He might be immortal, he might have heaven, but since when was immortality and heaven a good thing? This is only a suggestion, but it would be cool if you reflected upon this.
This is just how I feel. The Earth is far more wonderful to me than Paradise.
But no hard feelings! I guess a lot of you Christian's find the concept of death, or being gone forever... well, terrifying. You need something to comfort you. That's fine

not trying to start anything but many christians such as myself aren`t afraid of dying. in fact the only thing I worry about with death is who will take care of the ones i love after im gone. Other than that the thought of death dosent bother me that much

A thought-provoking situation. Antitheist comment coming your way. Is a spirit really that much more important than companions? How can you yourself go through life in a one-sided relationship, talking to someone who quite frankly, most likely isn't there. It isn't exactly healthy to put that above the world you can be certain is real. Religion *definitely* should not be able to constrict your ability to relate with the world around you. It's the world you can see, the life you live, and hopefully with intent. You shouldn't just brush it off to an afterlife you only have faith in. If this is all you have, live it.
Losing faith is not terrible. I lost mine a long time ago. I'll leave the matter in your hands but with more question. It's healthy to question. Means you have the virtue of logic and individuality. Thing is, I don't like Christianity, I'm a person who believes without religion the world would be better off. The only supports that. If you didn't have religion, you wouldn't be brushing off the world for faith.
