Description
The XM is a vehicle platform that can be altered very easily using different Mods or build options, it's many configuration have different designations,( designation names) though all type of build options have single nickname (puma, ocelot, jaguar, commander....), it can either be an Heavy vehicle or utility vehicle, the XM is a type of multi role platform vehicle that can thus be modified for all jobs. The XM has an hybrid Electric / diesel engine dual driven drive train, The electric engines are both located at the back, and the diesel engine is located at the front, there is an option to have an armored escape door/hatch at the back (only IFV types might have an backdoor option) the vehicle is fully made of composite materials making it very light (but still the XM wights 50 tons MAX* (depending on mods used and type*)
(Edit: added two navy XM units)

Can I borrow a few of these pieces for my own vehicles?

Are the XM37s supposed to act as HIFVs? Just wondering since they seem to have a low troop capacity if that was the case.

yep the XM37 (bobcat) basically is an intermediate class HIFV, packing a bofors 37mm gun, the crew compartment has an command vehicle utility suit layout and can thus be used as command radio unit HUB / but also the vehicle can function as heavy infantry fighting vehicle because of its bofors 37mm gun, but it's also a good scout vehicle, though it misses a coaxial mounted frontal machine gun...
Indeed the 2 extra crew isn't much but they need the extra space in the unit for radio and communication equipment, though there's a hatch at the back of the vehicle near the turret that can mount a browning MG but originally this hatch is'n used "actively" as it can only protect it's rear or back, the L1 upgrade of the XM37 "bobcat" has an laser fitted on the cupolas roof, this laser is specifically used to disable drone / UAV's optronics /optics or to destabilize / destroy incoming mortars /ATGM-AT, though can also function as crowd control measure in low energy settings.

Yeah I figured it was a CV given it's low passenger capacity. So is there not a dedicated troop carrier on the XM chassis or do you have a lighter chassis for that?

Indeed I have a lighter version "in WIP" for the medium to light Armour classification, but it's still WIP and largely in my mind... but generally it will also be a multi platform Idea like the Jaguar, and probably have the jaguar platform it self as buildup, I was thinking of +7 crew capacity in general, and this platform will also feature an (ADATS) (Air Defense Anti-tank System) for extended (+150km) range and a uniform cupola / turret that can thus also be fitted on the Jaguar platform.
Also the Jaguar XM platform As seen on the sheet will have a new(er) brother in the near future, the XM(P2) (P for prototype number 2), this will be a realistic modern 3D representation of the Jaguar XM platform, but because in 3D I'm more capable of making it accurate to realism it will thus feature more complex and detailed stuff, and thus also more advanced systems, here's a preview: sta.sh/01obitcot492 of my 3D WIP

I've got two questions about this design;
1. I notice by measurement that your wheeled armored vehicles have wheels almost as tall as the hull + turret is this intentional?
2. Since you used the same hull give or take for all models is it intentionally that skinny?

1. Ow the wheels, yes totally made them big-ass, but they can also be switched for smaller sized wheels, (though this is the extreme option hence why it's in the name). normal size will have "offload" added in the naming but that's still in WIP.
2. yes it's intentionally skinny so it has a High ground clearance, also some of the cupolas are made small so it keeps the skinny signature, (though this does not apply for all of the cupolas.)
but I made the tank as test in pixel sheet, I'm actually building the thing in 3D, though when editing the concept in 3D it's sorta easier to add detail and create it more to true from.
to give you an idea this is the 3D project: 1: sta.sh/01uicvjnc7tr 2: sta.sh/01obitcot492 (WIP)
it will look somewhat different and more realistic than the pixel sheet obviously.

You might want to reconsider that. The ultra-big wheels don't improve off-road performance, instead you've altered the center of gravity so the vehicle is more likely to roll over during turning at speed on uneven or unstable surfaces. What you need is wider tires not bigger diameter ones so you maintain traction and stability.

No problem at all, I hate to see perfectly good tanks roll over and crush the nearby infantry. Mostly because thats a waste of a good war machine but also, if you are really unlucky, Americas Funniest home vidoes gets a copy of the footage and adds sound effects.

Was thinking of an A-10 warthog conversion into a heavy combat drone, or something like that

Impressive. Did you do this all by hand or did you use a template?

No and yes sort off?, I used a friends vehicle chart for scale reference and Muze (fav.me/d8boxy7 ) but I did not use any parts or something, I made the entire vehicle myself, luckily the program I use has an layer option (RW-paint) so creating different cupolas and turrets after I had done the platform. (also the tracks, skirts, Mods, and wheels are on different layers so I simply turned them off and on, to create different variants.

Nice. I've never heard of RW-Paint before, I use GIMP myself.
I've never had the patience for pixel work like this. It is quite impressive though.

I also use GIMP but primarily to save (export) as different formats, (because RW-paint does not support many image types) but yeah RW-paint is like a mix of Photoshop and MS-paint kinda like GIMP is, it can also save and open .PSD layered images.
though I find the layout of RW-paint easier to understand than GIMP, though GIMP has way more options so... yeah, It's what program suits your way of making art the best I suppose.
