Just to say- I LOVE FLAME PRINCESS! I did an extremely hasty piece just to experiment with her for a sec and was seriously sleep deprived! This is my first work featuring this feisty, red tempered lass and I think I will be able to do her more justice once I get some much needed sleep! Please enjoy the pic! Oh, yeah- and for all of my Grammar Nazis, I edited the text.Thanks for viewing,

You know, I thought that Pendleton Ward was going to do something like this and I was disappointed as a fan, but I remain a supporter of the Finn x FP fandom.
Β What I always found when glancing at PB is that she respects the massive age difference between them selves and always took on a role model figure regarding Finn.
Β Maybe, Pendleton, you are going to cross the age boundary and deliver our hero back into the arms of Princess Bubblegum or will you throw us for another loop...

I find it harder to see Finn and Marceline getting close actually. If we ever see Marceline having a relationship in this series with anyone, Mr. Ward will have me by surprise.

I actually do not like the idea of PB being jealous over a relationship another person has with Finn *dodges missile* Just hear me out The way PB reats finn IS genuine, but it never really crosses the line from friend/ knight to romantic interest. Finn likes her, and she has always been VERY clear where she stands, and why she not only can't date Finn, but WON'T date him. She has always been extremely honest with all her intentions (except that time with the pie) but more importantly her relations. If she doesn't like someone, she makes it known, if she does like someone, she wont push it any farther than she is comfortable, but if someone does not like her, she does not try to gain or force them to like her. She doesn't usually go looking for a fight, but she will if she needs to.
Also the only time she ever interfered with Flame Princess and Finn's relationship, was when there was a chance it could literally destroy the world. And that episode only got so far ut of hand, because Jake did not listen to her initially, and instead just theorized she was jealous, which she got rightfully offended by. Heck she tries to help Flame Princess in her own way, not only to protect the kingdom but also to help Flame Princess. I think she genuinely wants them to be happy, which was the reason for her sad ace in the end of that episode, where she whispers "oh Finn" and Jake has the gull to ask if she's jealous. She is literally watching one of her closest friends struggle through his first relationship, and being unable to make it go farther because if they do, it means the end of the world. So they have to settle for kissing rocks. It's actually pretty sad, and she knows this, and wishes she could help and that it would not have to be that way. If given the chance she would help fix flame princess from being so unstable, which s another reason why she does study her so much. She's known her since she was a baby after all, and she wants to be of help.
So yeah, I din't think PB is a good addition to any love triangle, or jealousy plot, because she honest to god does not think of Finn in that manner. In fact there's probably another person she likes right now (please be Marcy, please be Marcy) and if not then science and her kingdom take up much of her time and affection, and she wouldn't change it for the world. That said I do like the fan art, and it is very cute, I just don't think its a likely scenario that will ever take place.

No problems here. I truly believe that PB never held a serious love interest in Finn and this holds principle owing to the fact that her affections only showed when she was reverted to 13 yet she became extremely conservative with them after returning to 18. What I was actually accentuating through this image was PB's concern over Finn's safety in holding a relationship with the Flame Princess. Thank you for your nice comments!

Flame- Cute, has a temper, doesn't believe she's evil, powerful, kinda destructive, little confused, was trapped in a lamp as a baby, curious, was heart broken be Finn because of his dream with the cosmic owl he wanted to finish by making her fight Ice King, truthful and honest, little unstable, over-thrown her dad.
Bubblegum- Cute, smart, stubborn, over-reacting, not so sensitive, was dropped in the Lich's pool of death, was kind as a kid, created Lemon Grab, gave up her child age for Candy Kingdom, interfered with Finn and Flame Princess, main character, misunderstanding people, needs people to protect her and be helpless, criticizing, power-needy, locked everyone up in the Apple Wedding, hurt Finn, and is a BUBBLEBUTT OLD GUM WAD!

Flame Princess- high school drama of Adventure Time, not as enthusiastic or weird as other characters, mellowdramatic, short-tempered, lonely, gets away with harming others, entered show to be Finn's girlfriend, over-powered, adorable, ignorant, really popular among fans, stereotypically tsundere
Bubblegum-intelligent, independent, main character since pilot, seemingly emotionless, mysterious, doesn't get involved in romance, uses her brain for defense, rarely uses own strength, seeks solutions instead of just complaining, morbidly adorable and unusual, has saved many lives more than once, misunderstood, very selfless while also hurting others in the same time

1. The fight between FP and PB during the episode 'All the Little People'
2. Finn's reaction when Flame Princess freaks out on a carnival vendor for calling her sweetheart in the comic 'Playing With Fire'
