Today JB is singing along to "Say It Right by Nelly Furtado"*Anyhoo, tis a curious Gaara studying a sleepy Hinata.
Yes, I know. She seems pretty oblivious for a Hyuuga, but then he is the kazekage. He's the Shadow of the Wind!
I'm still going by that "friendship" thing. REALLY. Gaara's just curious about this quiet girl that loves and has been in love with his fellow demon-host-kage-pal Naruto since childhood. Probably thinking, "Is this really that special? and if so, where can I get me one of these?"
(random side note= I wonder if anyone can really sleep up like that? Dunno, I'v heard of samurais dying in that position and not falling over (ie. the real life Saitou Hajime). And the Hyuugas just strike me as the kind of people who would force their kids to sleep while sitting properly. If not from their boring lectures, than for training/education.
)OH, decided to make my boring black lineart colorful. My scrapbook was looking rather bleak as of late. XD; Can I say that his kage outfit and pose was a pain to do? Yes, it was. His hair also kept changing. Hinata was pretty easy to do, I think. But now she doesn't look like her manga self.
And its not a proper kimono she's wearing. Just a stylized one I think a ninja would wear. Enjoy!

Yes, they should. *nods nods* But damnit! he's lives out in the desert and is a kage, so he can't abandon his village and she's the heir to a big shot clan in konoha. There'd be trouble 'a brewing if they tried to get together. ToT

lol, I thought that too after I added color to it. Her side bangs and bangs accompanied by ponytail are very Tomoe-ish. (was going for a clean shinto priestess look, HA, the irony...)

About the sleeping thing, I totally think it's true. My dad was in the Navy and he's always falling asleep in random places at random times. When I asked him why he does that, he says in the Navy you learn to catch sleep whenever you can XD Of course Hinata isn't in the Navy...
