tis funny, but...I can't make an older Ren, he's always permantly cute-looking...if that makes any sense. I did make his hair longer...>>; but he still looks...pretty and not...handsome.

Well, they're like Neji's eyes, which when comparied with Hinata's have a sharper look to them. Hinata's eyelids angle down, like they're droopy/sleepy. Neji and hanabi's don't.

kk...yay! This is probably my second time drawing Naruto. As I drew him, I kept thinking he still looked too young. He's got some BIG blue eyes that I can't seem to make adult-like without completely changing his face. They're part of his trademark.

LMAO...yes! the POSE. When I read that, I was like...OOH Gaara's posing for his fangirls! MUST DRAW THAT. well, I know he's not, but I couldn't help myself. I still had to use the hokage wrap around collar thing though. But I bet he looks shexi in his white desert wear. I'm used to him dressed in black (which makes no practical sense!) Yeah, I guess I should color this. I like how it turned out. It's always a treat when I draw a difficult angle/pose right.

Heh, her "omgwtf" expression was causing me trouble. I almost deleted that corner. but I'm glad you still liked it. I like her "sleeping" image better.

Yea actually your right, it does suit their features and their personalities. Ooo I always saw Neji with hawk shaped eyes, because of his uncanny ability to read people without his byakugan form. Much like how he read Hinata at the chuunin trails. Do you mind if use this description of them in my fic? Don’t worry I’ll credit you and all… in any case I plan on mentioning you and your pics and linking them.

That’s very true! i do notice that its hard to draw Naruto, at least in realistic form because of his eyes. Why don’t you try out a large almond or large semi-cat like eyes? Or even when you see an image of a 2 or 3 year old they often have large baby eyes, you could try that. It might be difficult but I think it would work.

Ah yes the fan girl pose. Oh no no… I was in fan girl mode when I wrote that part out, so yes it does have the fan girl aura upon it. And the collar works. Yes me too! I can’t get the black thing out of my head, but at the same time I'm sure he wears other colors as well. I mean he lives in Suna it must be hot as hell over there! Plus in chapter 247 (I cant remember ;__; ) he wore khaki!!! And good lord… smexyness alert!

Actually that expression was great! It reminded me of the second chapter. And I do love it to bits cause you did capture the emotion well, and her sleeping image is so cute. She’s so pretty it hurts

Yea only half of the chapter was written. Remember I split it up cause of the file size. I’ve got 3 more scenes to write up, maybe more. The more I get sucked into it the more scenes that may come up. Plus your pics inspired me so much I'm writing up chapter 4 and one other chapter (I currently named 7, which so far is my fav, and I cant wait to post up.)

well, yeah, being compared to a hawk does Neji justice. Hawks can see minute things from miles away. I kinda see Hanabi being more cat-like than hawk-like though. There's not much to go on with in the manga or the anime. One can imagine she's talented and sharp like Neji (having beat hinata before), but I guess because we don't know much, she remains mysterious to us. And well...cats have a mysterious quality to them too. And yes, her eyes being almond shape/cat eyed shape also gave me that impression.

But even then, Hanabi totally screams "Alpha Female." She's gotta be the alpha of her class, no doubt. lol. She beat her big sister when she was a little munchkin, than yeah! lol, of course i wouldn't mind. Tis not only mine I think...I've heard it been mentioned before...

he's got a definate shape to them alright, I guess as long as I draw his eyes with dark rims and pupils, he'll look familiar. (since that's how kishimoto's drawing him now...all sharp and stuff... )

Yup, it was inspired by the second chapter. I was listening to this uber depressing song by Vanessa carlton (one where her voice doesn't whine) and it just fit so well, gah, THE ANGST! heh, I need to draw more angsty Hinata now. aww! thank you. I like drawing sleeping characters with their hair all spread out. Problem is there's only so many ways you can draw a sleeping person before they all start looking the same.

ah true. i remember an artist using a childs picture in photoshop and manipulated it to look like naruto, he kept the eyes (only made it bigger) and the mouth bigger. i can link it you if u have a problem with his eyes. its a great referance. i think i have the link here...[link]

Dude...ya know what's odd, though? I've only read like...four or five GOOD naruhina fanfics since I began reading Naruto fanfiction. That's really sad. Where as there are more than a dozen awesome gaahina fanfics.

Geez, if I wrote a naruhina fanfic, I would definately add more character development, imagery, description and conflict to it. No one seems to do that. The majority of naruhina fanfics seem to be written by preteens or guys who write more for action than romance. What's funny is that three of the awesome naruhina fanfics I've read were written by guys. They're action type fanfics, but they manage to flesh out Hinata and Naruto enough to make it an interesting romance angle.

Yup, another reason gaahina's better.

OHH! I finally saw it. Yes, tans and browns suit him nicely. *does not agree with that marroon/purple color that is set for the time skip outfit in the anime* I swear, Kishimoto, I could smack you! Gaara's got CHERRY RED HAIR and PALE SKIN! you do NOT wanna put him in wine reds, cuz it makes the red in his hair CLASH with the red in his outfit and his pale skin look SICKLY instead of attractive. Ya just don't mix saturated red with cool dark red and then throw in tans/yellow from the goard. Bad color scheme.

any gothic rocker/punk person would tell you that's a HUGE NO.

Sorry, ranting again. I think this was the only time Kishimoto let me down with his character designs. BLacks and white look good on Gaara. Those colors bring his red hair out and don't compete with the tan from his goard.

OKAY OKAY! sleeping, got it. god, I just finished watching Jane Eyre this evening on pbs. Twas a very romantic version of that novel. A lot of cute sleeping/cuddling scenes that I KNOW weren't in the novel.

I'm guessing, the start of a new semester of school has something to do with it, maybe? God, I hope people update soon. TT; I feel the beginnings of an artistic rut...I need fanfiction to inspire me! ;o;

yes thats so true!!!! guys actually do give a good twist in their FF's. especially for naru hina. omg ur so right there are waaaaay more better gaa hina FFs out there that are just fantabulous, kudos to the authors.

YES FINALLY SOMEONE WHO AGREES WITH ME!!! i hated the red outfit. it looked so ghastly i shreiked when i saw it. blacks, tans, and white with some ethnic and culture designs suit him more.

actually all the clothes in the timeskip could have been so much better! narutos was the only one i actually liked.

yes i think thats it. my college starts in a week so it must be the scholastic year. hahah thanks! hun if i ever made a show on this FF u shall be head artistic director and teach those people to draw em smexy as hell. anyways im off to complete chapter 4!

And of course their different- it may just be a fandom thing but isn't Hanabi also potrayed as being very energic? Opposite from Hinata, and maybe it's just a fandom thing, hmm.....

(And yesh, of course that's why. 'Cus I love them all.)

Btw, I found this book at Borders. Called 'The Making of Modern Japan' from the biginning of the Tokugawa Shogunate until now-a-days. I nearly cried, GOLDMINE! (There was another whole book on the Bakumatsu, though mostly only the biginning of it- and I didn't have the money for it, but it was still like o____________0). I already saw a section called 'Koren relations with Japan'. So if you tell me what things you need researched for your fic, I'll try to see if it's all in there? At hat I'm gonna start scavaging all the libraries I can for history on this stuff so tell me everything you need and I can do double the research- for you AND me ^____^.
